Château La Grolet is the Côtes de Bourg vineyard of Peybonhomme-Les-Tours, a pioneering natural Bordeaux estate run by the Hubert family in the village of Cars near Blaye since 1895. Now in its sixth generation, it has been organic and biodynamic since 2000 with a strong focus on maintaining a healthy, vibrant ecosystem that encompasses flora, fauna and animal life.

Tasting Notes

A medium-bodied, savoury Bordeaux grown in the sandy gravel soil of the Côtes de Bourg. Notes of mulberry, cherry and ripe fruit, inky, powdery tannins and a long and driven close. Although it’s clear that 5-10 years will not weary it, it’s a very good drink now. It will match beautifully with any beef or lamb dish.
