Tasting Notes

Exceptionally dark in colour – plentiful, generous oak ageing but all very well integrated, this is very fresh expression. Fairly full in body, with a little smoky char on the palate. Acidity is robust, piercing, and it’s not shy in alcohol. A flamboyant style this year. 90-year-old Syrah co-planted with Grenache, grown at 400m altitude.[92/100 – Matt Walls – October 2019 – Decanter.com]
